Our climate positive journey

We started our London capsule project to explore if fashion could tell a different story: one that sparks beauty, joy and creativity over generations, reduces waste and ultimately has a climate positive (carbon negative) impact on our planet.

To this end, we partnered with On a Mission, a group of earth loving volunteers who help businesses and individuals calculate and compensate for their emissions through direct investment in local sustainable reforestation projects. They helped us measure (in detail) the lifetime impact of each product, considering our end to end operations and choices. Our forward thinking principles and considered decisions such as up-cycling, local sourcing, demand led production, waste reducing methodologies, and renewable, recycled, responsible materials etc. ensured our footprint was minimal (and a fraction of other comparable businesses). However, we agreed this wasn’t enough. We decided together with On a Mission to invest in forest regeneration projects that remove 5 times the amount of carbon for each kg of carbon our business emits.
